Helen J. Diaz, 85 of Orlando passed away Friday, August 24, 2007. Born in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Walter and Roena Andis, she moved to Central Florida in 1979. She was a homemaker and member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando. She was an avid bingo player, loved roses and was a huge fan of Bob Barker and the Price is Right Gameshow.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Keller of Chicago, IL, daughter, Kathleen Shemanski of Chicago, IL, son, Gary Diaz of Orlando, FL, daughter, Anna Rodriguez of Port Orange, FL and son, Robert Diaz of Bayamon, Puerto Rico; sisters, Elsie and Nadine both of Chicago, IL and Donna of Arizona and grandchildren, Frank Keller of Chicago, IL, Luis, Amanda and Amy Rodriguez all of Orlando. She was proceded in death by her husband, Antonio Diaz and her sister, Betty Scarborough of Benton Harbor, Michigan.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6200 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry, Florida. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 AM prior to the Mass.
