Henri Marcel Silva

Henri Marcel Silva, 10 years old, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, February 4, 2013 after a five year battle with leukemia. Henri was born on July 2, 2002, in Kissimmee, Florida. Henri enjoyed playing video games, reading chapter books, watching cartoons, and eating his favorite foods. He always had a big heart, a ready smile and appropriate comment. He was known for his sense of humor and wise-beyond-his-years insights. Always polite and concerned about the feelings and well-being of those around him, Henri would frequently check-in with his family and friends to see how they were doing and give a kind word.

Henri is survived by his mother, Silvana A. Reed; father, Henri Marcel Silva; step-father, Brandon A. Reed; brother, Richard A. Reed; and grandparents, Richard and Kathleen Standley, Hilda B. Silva, Maria D. Silva and Jorge F. Silva.

Heaven's doors opened and this angel stepped in. Thank you, God, for the time you gave us with Henri. Our little angel has touched so many lives, and we have been truly blessed to have known him.
