Henrietta G. Sebag, 98, of Orlando, Florida, passed away after a brief illness on October 8, 2024. Henrietta was born in Chicago, IL on July 21, 1926, to Henry and Madge Gade. She was a retired Orange County teacher. She worked at Magnolia School prior to retiring. Before teaching in Florida, she taught in Japan, Germany and Morocco where she met her husband, George. Henrietta spoke fluent French and German. She received her bachelor’s degree from Dupaul University and her master’s degree from Florida Technical University which is now known as UCF. She loved exercising, painting, crossword puzzles and she was an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Madge Gade, husband George, two brothers Dickie and Bill, sister-in-law Pat Gade. Son Charles (Charlie) Sebag and one grandson Tyson.
She is survived by her son Michael (Leah) Sebag. Grandchildren Rachel, Logan Sebag. And many nieces and nephews from Chicago, Canada, England and Israel. A private burial service and celebration of life was officiated by Rabbi Lefkowitz.
