Heru Amen Dixon

February 15, 1994 — February 5, 2014

Heru Amen Dixon passed on February 5, 2014 at the youthful age of 19. He was born to Stephen and Donna Dixon in Brooklyn, New York.

Just prior to his death, he completed his first year at Valencia College in Orlando where he aspired to achieve a degree in Nursing. He loved sports—notably basketball. He loved to have fun, especially with his twin brother, Seker.

He had a pleasant smile at all times and exhibited a happy-go-lucky demeanor. His name, Heru Amen, originated from ancient Egypt and means "At Peace with All Things". This quality was demonstrated in his displays of affection towards all those whom he interacted with. Thus we can say with conviction that Heru was true to his name.

Heru is survived by his mother (Donna), father (Stephen), twin brother (Seker) and a host of other family members including uncles, aunts, and cousins too numerous to mention.

Heru will be missed by all - family and friends.
