Hiram Mcfarland

Hiram Andrew McFarland, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on June 2, 2015. Hiram, who was better known as "Andy", was born on February 7, 1932. He studied Business Administration at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
Andy joined the Army on August 25, 1949 and served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and received an Honorable Discharge on December 17, 1952.
He married Betty Louise McFarland on January 20, 1957, and they recently celebrated 57 years of marriage.
He is survived by his 5 children, Deborah Miller, Diana Cole, Andrea Christian, Mark McFarland (Natalie) and David McFarland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Kelly Hart, Stephen McDonald, Ashley Miller, Mark Miller, Joshua Miller, Christopher Cole (Michelle), Landon McFarland and Mason McFarland. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Jordan Tyler Hart, Jenna Skylar Hart, Addison Brielle Cole, and Ariana Rose Cole.
Andy devoted his entire life to his wife and children. He was a very hard working man in the trucking industry. He loved music and spent all of his free time with his family. He was a man of faith and looked forward to joining his loved ones in heaven.
A funeral will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 335 E. State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750
