Howard D. Jones Sr.

Howard D. Jones Sr. 88 of Winter Park passed away Sunday, April 22nd. Born in Baltimore, MD, he moved to Central Florida in 1956. He was a retired financial analyst for Lockhead Martin and also retired from the State of Florida. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Winter Park, Knights of Columbus Council 2112, the Lockhead Martin Retired Employees Association and the St. Peter and Paul Mens Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Geraldine "Gerri" Glotzbach of Winter Park; son, Howard D. "Dan" Jones Jr. and his wife, Martha of Alexandria, VA and his grandson, Brian M. Glotzbach of Denver, CO. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Mary R. Jones and his brother, Albert J. Jones.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 27, 2007 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Road, Winter Park. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
