Irfan A. Kazmi, age 73, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather departed this life on October 19, 2021 meeting his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Irfan graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy wih a degree in math, economics and history. He moved to the United States in 1981. He spent twenty-four years employed at Walt Disney World in their Finance Department.
He met his wife Marcia (Fletcher) at our local Dubsdread Country Club Tap Room in College Park. Our family friend, Fred Hodes introduced them in 1989. They were married for 32 years.
Irfan enjoyed playing Polo as a young man in England, surf fishing in Ormond Beach, deep sea fishing, cruising the Caribbean and taking his children Katie and Richard camping when they were growing up. Irfan was the best "Baseball Dad" to his son, Richard, at Edgewater High School. He was a family man who most of all loved spending time with his wife, children and baby grandson, Fletcher.
Irfan was a very strong Christian. He enjoyed being part of Servants In the Son, Bible Study.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia, his four children Katie Priep (Chris), Richard, Sabrina Malhotra (Rohit) and Robert (Kiran). He is also survived by his siblings, sisters Lubna Raheel, Iram Shah and brother Fawzi Kazmi. Five grandchildren include Bianca, Jeremy, Shivanish, Mikhil, Fletcher and also three great-grandchildren Michael, Nolan and Juliana.
