Iris M. Betancourt, age 65 of Orlando passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2005.
She was born in Santruce, Puerto Rico and was retired from the medical field.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Juan Aviles and his survived by her mother, Blanca Aviles of Bastrop, Texas; husband, Daniel J. Betancourt of Orlando, FL; daughter, Marlene Gasner and her husband Kurt of Orlando; sister, Blanche Aviles of Glendale, CA; brothers, Victor Aviles of New York, N.Y., John Aviles of Burbank, CA, Hiram Aviles of Glendale, CA and James Aviles of Bastrop, TX; grandchildren, Kendail, Kaitlin and Mackenzie Gasner all of Orlando.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 31, 2005 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, Orlando with Father Andrew Wojtan, Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, October 30, 2005 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando 407-277-4227 with a Wake Service to be conducted at 6:30 PM.
