Iris M. Garcia , 91, homemaker, wife and beloved mother, of Orlando, Florida went to our Heavenly Father on March 18, 2014.
She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
In the early 60's she became a widow and moved to the Miami area where she raised three daughters on her own. In 1984 she moved to Orlando. She loved sewing, gardening and jewelry making. Christmas was a special time for her because she enjoyed setting up a Christmas winter village.
She is preceded in death by her husband Francisco A. Garcia and 5 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Carmen, Iris (David Labuda) and Margarita (Ron Williger) and her two special grandchildren Paul and Rebecca. She is also survived by her only surviving sibling Prisca Gerard and many nephews and nieces in Puerto Rico and throughout the United States.
