Iris May

Iris B. May age 97 of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and Winter Park, FL passed away June 30th, surrounded by her
loving family. Iris was born May 7, 1927 in Bloomfield, NJ.

Anyone that knew her recognized that there was nothing in this world that gave her more joy than her
children, grandchildren and great grandchild. She always wanted to be there for them and to be with
them. Iris was a deeply devoted Mother to seven children; Joseph, Lynn, Michael, Randall and wife
Barbara, Jeanette and husband Jay, Gary and late wife Lauranne, and Christopher. Iris was also blessed
with 9 beautiful grandchildren; Maeghan, Sean, Lauren and husband Domenic, Randall, Taylor and wife
Christine, Ryan, Dylan, Michael and Kaitlin, as well as her great granddaughter Nora, and niece Lydia.

Iris was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph and her cherished brother Randall.
Iris’s legacy is one of love and compassion. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her
family and friends. She touched the lives of countless people during her lifetime and her impact will
continue to be felt for years to come.

Iris’s family and friends take comfort in knowing that her memory will live on through the lives she
touched and the example of courage and kindness she set for us all.
There will be a memorial celebration of her life at a later date in New Jersey.
