Jacob Alan Bear, age 19, of Orlando, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
He was born in Winter Park, Florida. He was a student at East River High School and also worked at Chick-fil-A. Jacob was a varsity football player and was held in high regard by his teachers, family, and friends.
Jacob was a gentle giant. If there was anything he could do, it was done. He clearly changed many peoples lives. He gave the best Bear Hugs and always knew how to make people smile. He treated everyone with respect and made a huge impact on the people he knew and met. He was a great friend, teammate and brother. He treated everyone as if they were his family, and lived his own life the way he wanted to live it.
Jacob is survived by his parents Gregory and Victoria Bear, brother, Joshua Alan Bear; Grandmothers, Lindsay Smart and Carolyn Allison; Great-Grandparents, Robert W. (Pa Pa) Loring Sr. and Marge Loring; aunts, Karyn Bear Stoneking, Rhonda Andreotti and Rochelle Loring, uncles, Mike Andriotti, Benjamin Smart, Vincent Bear; great-aunt, Susan Loring, great-uncle, Tracy Doss, Bob Loring and Jim Loring; cousins, Kara Bear Williams, Amber Bear Stoneking, Shayla Bear, Haila Bear, Heidi Bear, Sandee Totten, Bill Totten, Caden Salango, Tera Salango, Debbie Williamson, Daniel Coda Loring and Jimbo Loring.
