Jaime Figueroa Vega, Sr.
July 25, 1932 — July 8, 2018
Jaime Figueroa Vega went to dwell with the Almighty on July 8, 2018. Jaime was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico in 1932. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Belen; daughter Abigail; son Jaime, Jr., and son Antonio; two grandsons, four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters.
Jaime served in the Army during the 1950's and upon his release from active duty in 1957 started working in Communications for the Department of Defense from where he retired in 1988.
He moved to Florida then to stay close to his immediate family, where he remained active worshiping the Lord and worked for the Orange County School Board.
Funeral Service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod, Road, Orlando, FL 32822, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Hector Santiago officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Friday, July 13, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822, officiated by Pastor Manuel Guzman and on Saturday from 10-11:30 AM by Pastor Hector Santiago.
Internment will take place Saturday at 12 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery 2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
