James Allen Bartz, 63, of Sanford, FL, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.
James was born September 4, 1959. He is preceded in death by mother, Sylvia and father, Oscar. James is survived by son, Jason Allen and his wife, Lacey; daughter, Christin Shelby Staley and her husband, Kevin Staley; siblings, John, Catherine, Linda, Darrell and Michael; grandchildren, Deacon, Easton and Rosealynn; as well as nephews, Bryan, A.J., Tyler and extended family.
James was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend, who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed each and every day. As he always said, "I'm just here to entertain." His children will remember the trips with dad and being there when they needed an ear to listen. James will be missed by everyone that ever knew him, even if it was just for a few minutes. He will live on in the hearts of his children and the stories they tell his grandchildren for years to come.
There will be a get-together on January 7, 2023, from 3-6 pm at The Elks Lodge in Sanford, Florida, for everyone to come share their memories and stories.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone bring their favorite dish to share.
