James A. Centrella Jr., age 90, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 12, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 23, 1926 to his parents, James Sr. and Carmela, in Philadelphia, PA. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, and Pop-pop.
He is survived by his wife, Rose, of nearly 60 years. Also, Jim was survived by his sister, Angeline and his four children; Carmel (Mark), James III (Melisa), Annette (Michael), and Maria (Jack), and sixteen grandchildren. Viewing Thursday, March 16th from 6:00-8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in Longwood, FL.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, FL on Friday, March 17th at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka.
