James D. "J.D." Waldron, 72 of Orlando passed away Sunday, March 8th. Born in Avon Park, FL, he moved to Orlando in 1962. He retired after 40 years with Bell South. J.D. served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid fisherman and baseball fan.
He is survived by his wife J.D.; daughters, Bonnie Waldron of Atlanta, GA, Robin Person of Orlando, FL and Marcia Waldron of Orlando, FL; son, Herb Tunley Jr. of Nashville, TN, grandchildren, Krista, Trey, Victoria, Olivia Rose, Lucas, Brianna, Tyler, Hannah, Mike, Shannon, Jennifer, John and Amanda; aunt, Jewell Younge of Jacksonville, FL, aunt and uncle, Richard and Lucy Derkman of Avon Park, FL; brother, Don Waldron of Athens, GA; sisters, Barbara Greenlee of Oklahoma, Carol Cadenhead and Nancy Taylor both of Lakeland, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida.
