James Evans

James Allen Evans, age 50 of Orlando passed away Jan. 28, 2006. Born in Williamsport, PA, he moved to Central Florida in 1980. He began his career working with his Father at Evans Cable Co. in Orlando and the later went to work for Orange County. He was an active supporter of different charities for victims of HIV/AIDS.
He is survived by his father, H.J. Evans of Orlando; mother, Geneveieve Evans of Burycus, Ohio; step mother, Susan L. Evans of Orlando; sisters, Valorie Ebersole of Orlando, Faith Achtermann of Burycus, Ohio and Sandra Porter of Walnut Creek, CA; step brother, Scott William Surchik of Umatilla, FL.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
