James F. Campbell

Funeral services for Deacon James F. Campbell, of Winter Park, who passed away Monday, October 31st, will be conducted Thursday, November 3rd at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park. The Rite of Receiving the Body will take place at the church at 11:30am, followed by a Vigil service. Bishop John Noonan, of the Diocese of Orlando, will preside at the Funeral Mass beginning at 2:30pm. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Burial for Deacon James Campbell will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Friday, November 4th at 1:30pm.
James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen, 7 children, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
A Winter Park resident since 1975, 'Jim' was born in Lima, OH in 1927. A retired Navy veteran, he also worked 15 years for the Orlando Police Department. A man of strong faith and compassion, James served as a Deacon at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church until recently. He is honored as a man who loved God and his family.
