James Clinton Fawcett

James Clinton Fawcett, age 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Orange City, Florida on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Jim was born on April 16, 1941 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to parents Harold W. Fawcett and Mabel M. Fawcett.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. A reception will follow from 3:00 to 4:00 where some of Jim's favorite candy will be served. Pastor Kevin Goza of Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, Florida will officiate.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris E. Fawcett; son, Jimmy Fawcett (Annette); daughter, Phaedra Fawcett; daughter, Abbra Forrester; son, Joseph Strickland (Rhonda); daughter, Janice Pritchard (Kenneth); daughter, Karen Ferguson (Billy); sister, Nancy O'Brien (Jim); sister, Irene Gadd (Wesley); eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends, all who will miss him greatly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 1022 S Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32703. To reach them by phone, please call (407) 886-2966.
