James Walter "Jamie" Haddock, 53, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Jamie was born on December 22, 1962 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Hector and Jacqueline Haddock. He will be remembered as a brilliant and loving, son, brother, uncle, nephew, godfather and friend.
Jamie is survived by his parents, Hector and Jacqueline; sister, Joy Renee (Philip) Petescia; three brothers, Michael David (Irma), John F. (Kathleen) and Luis (Hilda) Haddock; uncle, Paul (Kathy) Bartell; two nephews, Luis Daniel Haddock and Sean James Haddock; three nieces, Jacqueline Shirley Petescia (Goddaughter), Cristina R. Petescia and Caitlyn J. Petescia; his canine companion, Fella and his kitty, Tiger; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
He was a graduate of Briarcliff Manor High School in New York and later received a Bachelor's Degree from Pace University. Jamie furthered his studies at the Denver University earning a Master's Degree in Computer Science. For the majority of his career, he worked as a System Analyst & Programmer.
Jamie was a faithful man who attended St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Orlando.
He was fascinated with learning, speaking 7 languages and various computer languages. He was an inventor and held patents for his creations. Jamie found harmony in music, he was a talented musician that played the piano and several other instruments. Jamie also enjoyed nature and being outdoors, especially when cruising on his motorcycle. His kind and precious soul will remain in our hearts forever.
Family will greet friends from 1:30PM to 3:00PM on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando following with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 4301 S. Chickasaw Trail, Orlando, Florida 32822 beginning at 4:00PM.
