James W. "Jim" Higgins, 74 of Maitland, Florida passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014.
Jim was born on August 5, 1939 in New Richmond, Wisconsin to Howard and Mary (Middlebrook) Higgins who have both preceded him in death. He has lived in Central Florida since the 1950's. Jim held the rank of Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and retired in 1977 after over 20 years of service. He loved music and enjoyed gardening and weight training. Jim was of the Catholic Faith.
Jim is survived by his wife of 32 years, Stefanie R. (Mohler) Higgins; daughter's, Terri A. Collins, Mary B. Reifsnider, Jeri L. Alberson, Sheri L. Johnson, Lisa G. Denholm and Carrie J. Higgins; sister, Maureen Hornbostel; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
