James Kirkland

James A. Kirkland, age 77, stepped in to eternity to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Orlando, Florida.
Jim was born in Lanett, Alabama on September 13, 1937. He was the son of the late Wilburn and Lillian Kirkland. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Jim founded Orlando Frame & Art Supply, Inc., with Wilburn Kirkland and Runell Kirkland, wife.
He is survived by his wife, Runell Lewis Kirkland. They married on July 8, 1955 and enjoyed almost 60 years as husband and wife. Survived by daughter, Robin Tucker, son, James A. Kirkland Jr., daughter, Susan Booth, and son, Jesse Kirkland. Also, surviving 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Jim was the youngest of two siblings, William Kirkland and Buford Kirkland residing in Titusville, Florida.
Please join us to celebrate his life on Thursday June 25, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm with funeral service on Friday June 26, 2015 starting at 11am, all at Eastland Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32825.
Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
