Mr. James Joseph McCarthy, age 58 of Orlando passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005. Born in Buffalo, New York, he has been a residence of Central Florida for the past several years. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and retired as a computer engineer. He is survived by his wife, Tena McCarthy of Orlando; son, James McCarthy II of Orlando; daughter, Christine McCarthy of Orlando; brothers, Bill and Leo McCarthy both of Buffalo; sister, Annabelle Rankin of Kansas; grandchildren, Sarah, James III, Jaymee, Jason, Nathaniel and Robert.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 in the Chapel of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando with Pastor Thomas Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon up until service time.
