James D. Mcfarland

James D. McFarland, 59 of Orlando, FL passed away on July 14, 2021. He was born in Columbus, GA on February 9. 1962. James retired as a Corrections Officer with Orange County Corrections Department. He was the 6th of 9 children in his family and he enjoyed being with his family and playing the part of the "Best Uncle". James enjoyed collecting football memorabilia and was a big Miami Dolphins fan. He loved Elvis Presley music and was a foodie at heart. He had a very strong faith in God and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Parish. James was preceded in death by his father, Charles McFarland; his brothers, Bill McFarland and John McFarland and by his sister, Diana McFarland. He is survived by his beloved mother, Aloisia McFarland; his brothers and sisters: David (Sharon) McFarland, Donna (Jim) Pettis, Charlene (Rich) Wilkins, Sylvia (Tom) Moch and Mary Villegas; his sister-in-law, Lorena McFarland and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James' name to the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org/donate
