James "JC" Carl Miller, age 79, of Longwood, Florida passed away on September 20, 2020. He was born on November 21, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was in the US Navy for 27 years, where he retired as an E-9 Master Chief Petty Officer. Preceded in death by his wife, Helena Maria Trujillo, and Orville and Ethel Mathews. He is survived by his fiancée Iris Hinson, his two sons Mark and Matt Miller, his two daughters-in-law Deanna Gurney and Lauren McCutcheon, and his four grandchildren, Brady, Hadley, Lincoln, and Elena.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 2, 2020 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs.
