James Robert Dapper

James Robert Dapper, 79 passed away peacefully at home in Orlando, FL on February 29, 2008. Jim was the son of Robert A. and Mary E. Dapper and was raised in New York. He graduated from Webb Institute of Naval Architecture and worked as a Naval Architect for the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington D.C. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward R. Dapper. He is survived by his wife, Grace Dahl Dapper, his three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda D. Birch (Christopher J. Birch), Susan D. Johnson (David Johnson) and Lorri J. Dapper; his grandsons, Christopher J. Birch Jr. and Stephen Z. Johnson; his brother, Nathan E. Dapper and many nephews, nieces and friends. He wil be laid to rest in Madison, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Share The Care Inc., 1010 Arthur Avenue, Orlando, Fl 32804.
