James R. "Jimmy" Sawyer, age 70 of Orlando passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2006. Born in Phoenix City, Alabama, he moved to Central Florida in 1946. He was a retired Brick Mason and was Protestant.
He survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria Sawyer; daughter Raymona Kelley of Palm Bay, FL and son, David Sawyer of Orlando; brother, Johnny R. Sawyer of Georgia; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Friday, March 3, 2006 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
