James Thomas Stillwell, Sr.

James Thomas Stillwell, Sr., age 70, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at his home in Orlando. 

He was born on June 24, 1954 in Anderson, SC, son to his late parents, George S. and Virginia Ann (Goodman) Stillwell.  

James was a family man who adored his grandchildren, but also liked his peace. He enjoyed being outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and motorcyclist. He also liked camping and cooking outdoors.  

He spent almost 50 years in the electric industry, achieving the rank of master electrician before he retired in 2022. James enjoyed his profession immensely and loved to share with others the knowledge and experience of the trade he learned and was passionate about. 

He is survived by his son, James Thomas Stillwell, Jr., and his wife, Tonya; four grandchildren, Joseph Stillwell, Briana Stillwell, Kendra Stillwell, and Madison Stillwell; and a sister, Patricia Pate and her husband, George. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Sandra Stillwell.
