Miller, James V., age 78 of Orlando passed away on Sunday, April 12. He was born in Aiken, SC on January 22, 1931. He was a veteran of the US Airforce and for many years owned Miller Painting in Orlando. He was a devout Christian who was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Ben. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mildred; son James V. Miller, II; daughter Vicky Lynn Barrow; son David Bradford Miller; sisters Edna Strickland and Marion Way; grandchildren Jessica, James III, Doug, Alyssa, Seth, Cameron, Daniel, Erin and Rebekah; great-granddaughter, Madison. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Wednesday, April 15 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Comforter.
