Janet Elizabeth Snell

Janet Elizabeth Snell, 75, affectionately known as GG, passed away on August 15, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side.

Janet was born on June 27, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went to West Chester University and earned a degree in Elementary Education. Janet dedicated her life to helping children. On July 1, 1972 she married Daniel Snell and spent a wonderful 52 years together.

Janet’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband, Daniel; her daughters, Karen and Lindsay; her grandson, Jacob; her brother and his wife, Richard and Renee Erickson; her precious Maltese, Minnie; and a community that was better for her presence. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
