Jay S. Mcquown

Jay S. McQuown, age 90 of Orlando, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 23. He was born in Punxutawney, Pennsylvania on July 12, 1923 to Lon Hastings McQuown and Clare Elizabeth Smith McQuown.
He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army Air Corps. He was a retired Inspector with the City of Orlando.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Juelda N. Noerr McQuown; daughters, Cinda Teper, Sharon Jackson and Brenda Race; son, Rev. Dennis Jay McQuown; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12PM-1:30PM, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will begin at 1:30PM. Interment with military honors will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando.
