Jean Margaret Thanski

Jean Margaret Thanski, age 76, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Ruddiman and Mary Ruddiman.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Thanski, daughter, Deirdre Thanski, and grandson, Nikolaj Thanski.
These past 15 years had been very difficult for Jean. She was very easy to care for, whether I woke her up, washed or dressed her, or fed her. She never complained as she struggled through her dementia. I never considered it work but a time I could spend with her even though she couldn't remember my name this last week she ate and drank absolutely nothing. Last Sunday, October 24th she looked at me as I was feeding her and said "I do not know you." "But I like you very much." and then she stopped eating and closed her eyes.
52 years ago on Halloween I proposed to her and I believe she stayed alive until yesterday when she passed or rather decided to leave. Deirdre, Nikolaj and I we'll miss her deeply. God grant her rest and may her memory be eternal.
