Jeanette D. Cruz

Jeanette Maxima Pati Divino Cruz, September 2, 1940 to November 26, 2013.

Jeanette has now lost her final battle against cancer after a long bout. As such, her family was afforded 10 more years to enjoy life with her. She passed away with her loving family by her bedside.

She was born and raised in the Philippines where she fell in love with her soul mate Eliseo G. Cruz whom she married in March of 1964. There they began a family, but soon after relocated their family to the United States in the 1970s.
New York City became their new home where she embarked upon a professional career as a corporate accountant.

She viewed family as one of the most precious aspects of life and considered the "family model" tantamount to human success. She was a loving caring mother that provided three children the same nurturing care that the blessed Virgin Mary yielded to her child – Jesus Christ.

Jeanette is survived by her husband Eliseo, a daughter Jocelyn and son in-law Eric Troussard, two sons – Eric and Elison and daughter in-law Ravit, two grand-daughters – Kareen and Eden, two grand-sons William and Cedric, and her only brother Agapito Divino, and enough loving care for humanity to last a millinea.
