Jeffrey A. Diehl

Jeffery A. Diehl was born on July 2, 1955 in Rochester, NY to the late Carl and Joanne Diehl. Jeff passed away on July 21, 2017 in Orlando, FL.
His passing will be mourned by his brothers, Jessie and Jon Diehl; sister, Jodi Nestle; son, Jaron Diehl; daughters, Jana Lesiak and Corey Romero; and his wife, Carol Mounier-Diehl.
Jeff graduated from State University of New York (SUNY) in Geneseo, earning his B.S. in Geology. He enlisted into the Navy sailing on the USS Independence. While serving in the Navy he attended officer candidate school, surface warfare officer school, damage control asst. school and reaching the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG).
He was honorably discharged and received the following decorations: a Navy Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Sea Service Ribbon (3rd award) and 45 pistol (Sharp Shooter).
Jeff was also a member of the Royal Arch Mason and ELK community.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1411 Dean Road, Orlando, FL 32825 (407)275-1771.
Inurnment with military honors will be rendered at 3PM on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 U.S. Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754 (321)383-2638.
