Jeffrey married Brenda Burris on May 10, 1980 in Knoxville, IL. They lived in Galesburg with their son, Brendan until November, 1985, when they moved to Orlando, FL. They were active members at The Wesleyan Church in Galesburg, and also when they moved to Orlando.
Jeffrey was a payroll tax accountant for Campus Crusade for Christ for many years, but had to leave his job in the early 2000's due to his disability with Parkinson's disease.
Jeffrey's hobbies included music, photography, sports cars and motorcycles. Prior to his illness, Jeffrey also enjoyed racquetball, antique hunting, refinishing furniture, house renovations, pistol range shooting and bicycling. Through the years Jeffrey served the Lord in the local churches in Galesburg and Orlando through various activities including choir, orchestra, men's groups, couples groups, young leader, usher and Sunday School teacher.
