Jeffrey Scott Peterson, age 27 of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Born in Orlando, he was a lifelong resident of Central Florida. He was a 2003 graduate of Colonial High School, Orlando.
Jeff always lived life to the fullest every day. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. His hobbies included the love for baseball, bowling and golf. Jeff grew up playing baseball at Conway Little League then onto Varsity Baseball at Colonial High School and as he grew older became to love the sport of bowling and golf.
Jeff was no stranger to anyone he would meet, he always left a lasting impression. He could brighten up any room as soon as he would walk through the door with his beautiful smile and personality. He certainly loved others and was a friend to many. Thank you Jeff for sharing your generous heart to all that have been embraced by your presence.
Jeff currently was employed at Map Destinations in St. Augustine, Florida. He held the position of Assistant Marketing Sales Manager.
Jeff is survived by his father, Pete Peterson, (Linda, step-mother); sisters, Rebecca Portman, Rachael Peterson, Erica Brooks; grandfather, William Portman, grandmother, Shirley Peterson, step-grandmother Donna Hyder; cousins, Brian Lowery, Nicholas Peterson, Cody Peterson, Justin Hyder; Along with uncles and aunts and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Portman; grandfather, Jerome Peterson , step-grandfather, John Hyder.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pinecastle United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.
Jeff, we love you and will miss you dearly, you will forever be embedded in our hearts and never forgotten.
