Jennifer Ann Kelly, age 25, of Haines City Florida died at Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport Florida on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Jennifer was born on November 24, 1987 in Miami Florida to her parents Elizabeth and Ned Kelly. Jennifer moved to Winter Springs in 2001 and attended Winter Springs High School. Jennifer, an avid reader, writer, designer, and animal lover studied at Valencia Community College and was about to graduate from Polk Community College before beginning her bachelor studies in finance and law.
Jennifer was engaged to Frank G. Bowen. Frank and Jennifer, together with Ziggy, Buddha, Gibbons, and Jeffrey the goose and Jennifer's many other furry and feathered friends lived in Haines City, where together Frank and Jennifer made avant-garde movies, managed an orange grove and lived life to its fullest in their home.
Jennifer is survived by her fiancé Frank G Bowen, her mother, Elizabeth Kelly, and husband Walt Christoffer, and her brother John Kelly of Winter Springs; her father Edgar "Ned" Kelly, and step mom, Brenda Kelly of Pembroke Pines; her maternal uncle John Hastings; and her paternal aunts: Kathleen (and AJ) Clark, Susan (and Philip) Twomey, Carol Miller, Elizabeth (and Tom) Goeller; Jennifer's very special sister and best friend, Raven Epps, and many, many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 South Goldenrod Rd., Orlando FL 32822, with viewing from 12:00 to 2:00, followed by services in the Chapel. Then Jennifer will travel and be laid to rest in the Garden of Remembrance at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park Florida 32789. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ASPCA (212) 876-7700, Humane Society of Polk County (863) 324-5227, World Wildlife Fund/Polar Bears, or any rescue or animal shelter program in memory of Jennifer and her love of animals.
