Jerimy Allen Thomas, 44, of Winter Park Florida, born May 10, 1976, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Jerimy is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Haffner Thomas; two young sons, Cooper Allen Thomas and Parker James Thomas; brother Daniel James Thomas; parents Lyle Gary Thomas, and Josephine Thomas; grandmother, Nellie Holt; uncles James Thomas and Marvin Holt; aunt Trina Goble; and numerous cousins. Jerimy is predeceased by his parental grandfather Gerald Thomas; and maternal grandmother Shizuko Arai "Grandma Suzi", both of whom he loved and adored.
Jerimy grew up in Southern California and Michigan, where his parents and family taught him much about outdoor life. After high school he moved to Colorado where he excelled in snowboarding in the winters and golfing in the summers. After meeting Jennifer, Jerimy later moved to Florida, focusing on family, as well as his passions for golf and fishing. At the time of his passing, he was employed with Tiltleist as a custom club fitter, making a great name for himself in the company. Weekends were spent on the water fishing with his wife, sons and parents, along with friends.
A dedicated and loving father, Jerimy stayed home to care for their sons during the pandemic, organizing and supervising their education.
We will remember Jerimy's adventurous outlook on life, his laugh and his smile. May his free spirit live on through his children and provide solace to those he left behind.
Visitation is Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with memorial service starting at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Winter Park Chapel.
