Jerome Leonard Scott

Jerome "Jerry" L. Scott, age 82 of Orlando, went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2018. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 2, 1935 to Walter Scott and Ann Habowski Scott.

Together with his wife Robin, Jerry fostered five children. At an early age, he learned the value of responsibility and self-sufficiency, and passed those traits on to young people. He understood the importance of teaching younger generations so they could become productive citizens in society. Always the encourager, Jerry gave young people the inspiration they needed to aspire to become something; studying, learning, and to complete what you started.

He loved cars and working on them. He once restored a 1950's era Corvette that took him 3 years to complete. The auto body industry thought very highly of Jerry, as he was an expert when it came to painting cars. Jerry also loved fishing and hunting. Well into his senior years, Jerry continued to stay busy, always coming up with new projects to stay active.

Above all, Jerry loved to share his faith in Jesus Christ with others. This was of utmost importance to him. He taught Bible study, and loved to sit and have a good debate with people. He was naturally a people person who never met a stranger he did not like.

Jerry leaves behind his wife, Robin Scott, his brother, Dennis Scott (Sandra), and a host of people whose lives he touched throughout the years.
