Jerry L. Smith was born August 3, 1938, in DeKalb, IL the son of LeRoy and Mildred Smith and passed away in Orlando, FL on February 7, 2017.
Jerry married Norma West on April 30, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in DeKalb, IL. They have 2 children, Beth (Leo) Wilz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Brad Smith of Orlando, Fl. He also has 2 grandsons and one granddaughter. Jerry and Norma lived in Oswego, IL for 31 years, and then retired to FL in 2001. He also is survived by a sister, Annette Cram of Kingsford, MI and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry's life will be celebrated in a memorial service on Saturday, February 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Orlando, followed by cremation. Funeral arrangements have been made by Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, FL 32822.
