Tony once again followed his parents, who became educators, and taught upper elementary students at Westside School in Elizabethton, Tennessee for thirteen years. He was honored several times by his colleagues for his teaching excellence.
Tony and Bob relocated to Orlando in 1987 and began teaching for Orange County Schools. Tony continued with the elementary level and Bob with middle school. Tony completed 35 teaching years, several of which he was Dean of Students at Hillcrest Elementary Language School.
