Jesús nació el 15 de agosto de 1948 a Jesús Cruz López y Paula Pinto en Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. Se casó con su esposa Melva Cruz el 18 de Septiembre de 1970. Jesús sirvió en el United States Army durante 24 años y se retiró como Sergeant First Class.
"El teenager" tenía una gran pasión por la cocina, la música y los deportes. cuando no estaba cocinando , se oía cantando sus canciones favorita de salsa, o viendo a los Dallas Cowboys y sus queridos New York Yankees.
Le sobreviven su esposa Melva Cruz. Sus hijos Jesús Cruz Jr y Ivan Cruz. Su hija Yesenia Cruz. Su nieto Uriel Cruz, y su nieta Gricelda Cruz.

Jesus was born on August 15, 1948 to Jesus Cruz Lopez and Paula Pinto in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He married his wife Melva Cruz on September 18, 1970. Jesus served in the United States Army for 24 years and retired Sergeant First Class.
"El Teenager" had a great passion for cooking, music, and sports. When he wasn't in the kitchen, you could hear him singing his favorite salsa songs, or watching his Dallas Cowboys and his beloved New York Yankees.
He is survived by his wife Melva Cruz. His two sons Jesus Cruz Jr and Ivan Cruz. His daughter Yesenia Cruz. His Grandson Uriel Cruz, and his granddaughter Gricelda Cruz.
Visitation will be at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions

His Service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday January 8, 2019 at Good Shepard Catholic Church. 5900, Oleander Drive. Orlando, Fl 32807.
