Jesus Torres

Jesus Torres, age 77, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. 

He was born on April 25, 1947 in Coamo, PR, son to his late parents, Nemesio Torres and Irma Nelida Viera. 

Jesus is survived by his three sons, Richard Joe Torres and his wife, Mayra, of Greenville, NC, Robert Lee Torres and his wife, MaElena, of Kissimmee, and David Allen Torres and his wife, Elizabeth, Santiago; two daughters, Catherine Esther Alvarez and her husband, Hector, and Vanessa Lee Torres, and her fiancé, Yatish; Grandchild, Richard Joe Torres, Jr., Grandchild, Jessica Marie Torres; twenty-four grandchildren, Jennifer Ivette Torres, Natasha Noelie Torres, Naisha Irma Torres, Myra Luna Torres, Robert Lee Torres, Jr., Monica Nichole Torres, Brandon Lee Torres, Layla Love Torres, Gabriel Adrian Torres, Christopher William Alvarez, Justin William Alvarez, Matthew William Alvarez, Izayah Yatish Patel, Yesenia Liz Torres, Yanira Marie Torres, Yasmin Elaine Torres, Joshua Divad Torres, Jorge Luis Rodriguez, Edwin Miguel Rodriguez, Lizbeth Marie Rodriguez, Reinaldo Martinez, and Alexander Martinez; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Nemesio Torres; and a sister, Esther Torres. 

He was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Roberto Torres. 

 The family invites you to celebrate his life on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 6:00 pm for sharing of memories and stories with his family at Newcomer Funeral Home – 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822. 

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, March 6 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 

 Interment will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery, 141 Edgewood St, Apopka, Florida 32703.
