Jett Easton Dirksen, age 1, of Casselberry, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Paula Carrasquero, great-grandmother, Evangelista Perez, great-grandfather, Bruno Geerman, great-grandfather, Lourens Dirksen, and great-grandmother, Petra Maria Dirksen.
He is survived by his parents, Jamir Anthony Dirksen and Tiziana Sonisa Dirksen, grandfather, Robert Carrasquero, grandmother, Sonia Perez, grandfather, Jaime Dirksen, grandmother, Julia Dirksen, uncle, Robsander Carrasquero, uncle, Jairo Dirksen, aunt, Jayne Franken, uncle, Derrick Franken, cousin, Nolan Franken, great-grandfather, Candido Carrasquero, great-grandfather, Jose Perez, and great-grandmother, Anna Geerman.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with funeral service starting at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel), 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Florida 32792.
On the day of the service, the family requests that all who attend wear festive and brightly colored clothing to honor and celebrate Jett's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made instead to one of the following organizations:
American Liver Foundation
National Organization for Rare Disorders
Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children
These all focus on research and development in rare pediatric diseases, of which Biliary Atresia is one.
