Jim Miller, age 84, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Jim was born on May 8, 1935 in Owosso, MI, son of the late Clare LeRoy and Josephine (Bruckman) Miller. Jim was a longtime engineer, retiring from Lockheed Martin after many years of service. He was an avid bowler for many years. Jim's biggest hobby was his HO model trains. He was a life member of both the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) and the Sunshine Region Eastern Division (SSR). Jim enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
On July 27, 1957, he married Claire Billy. Jim was the love of Claire's life for their 63 wonderful years together. The memories will last forever. Jim loved his sons, Steve and Danny, and was so very proud of them both. He will be missed so very much.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Claire Miller; two sons, Steve Miller and his wife, Brenda, of St. Cloud, and Danny Miller and his wife, Sue, of Orlando; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Janice and JoAnn, both of Owosso, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Judith A. Race.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822.
