Jimmy Len Stolzenburg, born on August 25, 1954, in Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 31, 2024, in Daytona Beach, Florida after a hard-fought battle with esophageal cancer.

Jim’s life was marked by his unwavering faith in God and his deep love for family, particularly his son, Jeremy. His pride in Jeremy was evident to all who knew him.

A talented athlete in his youth, Jim excelled as a third baseman on the hometown All-Star baseball team for two seasons. His dedication to service led him to a career in the Army, where he held a critical position involving tactical nuclear weapons.

After his military service, Jim pursued a career as a long-distance truck driver and later became a skilled specialist technician with marble and granite. In his leisure time, he found joy in competitive pool and darts winning multiple trophies.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Adela Stolzenburg, his brother, Jerry Stolzenburg, and girlfriend, Cynthia Baker. He is survived by his son, Jeremy Stolzenburg, his siblings, Don (Sandy) Stolzenburg Jr, Michael (Deb) Stolzenburg and Juanita (Daniel) Fliess.

Jimmy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
