Joann Bevlin (86) Passed away peacefully in her sleep February 25, 2023 .
Joann was born March 9,1936 to Laura and Clyde Hambey in Arab, Alabama. The family consisting of nine children moved to Orlando in the late 1940s. Momma told us it was because the farm wasn't doing too good. She did not appreciate us joking about them coming by covered wagon.
She married Wesley Bevlin in 1952. Together they had seven children; Robert, Thomas, Randall, Russell, Laura, Jeffrey, and Dennis. She was Baptist and a true believer throughout her life . She is survived by her children: Robert, Thomas, Russell, Laura and Dennis, Her grandchildren; Christopher, Wayne, Robert ,Jenny ,James, Brian, Cory, Ashley, and Nicole. her great grandchildren : Taylor, Reese, Sawyer, Connor, and Fletcher, her sister Shelba Benson, daughter in laws Karla and Christine, son in law Steve Allen and innumerable other family members.
She never really got any awards , held any patents ,or received any accolades but she was totally committed to her children. She loved us all and we loved her.
