Joanne Sorrentino

Joanne M. Sorrentino, 72, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Orlando, FL. She was born in Tamaqua, PA on January 24, 1944 to the late Simon and Violet McMonigal. For the majority of her career, she worked as a Radiology Instructor for Winter Park Tech leading up to her retirement in 1996. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Joanne is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Louis R.; son, Louis P.; grandchildren, Giovanni, Gianna and Lea Sorrentino; sister, Cecilia White (Lee); sister-in-law, Sonya Bly; and niece, Wendy White.

Family will greet friends from 6PM to 7PM on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando with a funeral service to follow at 7PM.
