Joaquim Antonio Serrao, age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Joaquim was born on October 8, 1937 in Fajarda, Portugal to parents Antonio Serrao and Quiteria Maria.
He is survived by his children, Michael Santos Serrao (Celia) and Laura Ann Serrao (Stephen); grandchildren Dylan Rodrigues, Meighan Serrao, Kaitlyn Rodrigues, and Jacob Serrao; and many friends, all who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aurelia Dos Santos, who passed away on February 9, 2020. His parents and his brother, Antonio Serrao, also preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, South Seminole Chapel, 335 East State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, followed by interment at Highland Memory Gardens.
