John Allen Morgan

John Allen Morgan, age 67, of Longwood, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Although he bravely fought and won against cancer for the second time, his death was the result of complications related to his cancer treatment. Born in Fairfield, CA at Travis Airforce Base on August 7, 1957, he came to Orlando, FL in 1962.

He worked as a Truck Driver at UPS/TCI, retiring in 2022 with 28 years of service. John Allen worked on the Shuttle at the Kennedy Space Center in the mid-80s, following that he became a Marine Mechanic and worked on Speed Boats in St. Augustine. He was a member of the Wekiva Presbyterian Church.

On February 25, 1995, he married his lifelong partner, Debra Lynne Morgan (nee Spakowski), and they had three children Anthony Allen Morgan, Jeremy Allen Morgan, and Dominick Allen Morgan. They lived in Orlando, FL together from 1995 to 2017 until they moved to Longwood, FL. His family grew on November 20, 2021, when his oldest son Anthony married Bianca Diana, they reside in Longwood, FL. On June 22, 2024, the middle son Jeremy married Nicole Morgan (nee Wright) they reside in Casselberry, FL.

John Allen Morgan is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Fay Morgan (nee Willoughby), his father, John Henry Morgan, his brother John Michael Morgan, and his sisters, Pamela Diane Boerner and Mary Bedenbaugh. John Allen is survived by his wife, Debra Lynne Morgan, his sons and their wives, Anthony Allen Morgan, Bianca Diana, Jeremy Allen Morgan, Nicole Morgan, and Dominick Allen Morgan, his sisters, Vickie June Thomas, and Sandra Fay Johnston, he also leaves behind nieces and nephews.

John Allen loved the great outdoors and was a proud member of the “Cranky” Campers, where he spent many joyful weekends around campfires with friends and family. His devotion to his boys was evident in his active participation in every Boy Scout campout and his role as a Little League Baseball coach. John had a passion for classic cars and boats, often attending shows to admire the craftsmanship of others. He found joy in every aspect of life, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. John touched many hearts, and while he will be deeply missed, his meaningful memories will forever be cherished.
