John Alfred Bridges Sr.

John Alfred Bridges Sr., age 74, of Orlando, FL passed away January 21, 2017.
He was born on July 31, 1942 in Altoona, PA to the late John Frederick and Treva Bridges. He is also preceded by his daughter, Justine Ellen Bridges; and brother, James Bridges.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Jane Bridges; sons, John Alfred Bridges (Maritza Padilla) and Timothy Allen Bridges Sr.(Amanda Lewis Brown); grandchildren, Cherokee James Bridges, Elizabeth Colleen Bridges and Timothy Allen Bridges Jr.; sister, Iona Maxine (George John "Rock") Settle; brother, Richard James Bridges; niece Laura Jane Settle; special adopted daughter, Bonnie Sue Noll-Nelson; and many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and many other special family members and friends that are to numerous to list.
John is a US Marine veteran. He is an active member of Faith Assembly and First Baptist Church of Pine Castle.
Visitation is Tuesday January 31, 2017 from 2pm to 8pm with funeral service starting at 7pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
Burial will take place at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood, PA.
